EMD Biosciences-Calbiochem announces new online Substructure Searchable Inhibitor Database Files.

The chemical structure data file (.sdf) and ChemFinder-compatible file currently consist of more than 650 records based on the Calbiochem collection of small molecule inhibitors. Files may be downloaded into a variety of applications, allowing researchers to search by structure, substructure, catalog number, molecular formula, molecular weight, or CAS number. Each record features additional information, including: references, product description, purity, form, solubility, and recommended storage. Inhibitor targets include: kinases, phosphatases, proteases, polymerases, COX/LOX, HDAC, HMG-CoA Reductase, nitric oxide synthases, and more.

Files can be accessed free of charge at www.calbiochem.com/inhibitordatabase, and researchers can choose to be notified electronically when updates are available.
