Product news

NuAire’s CO2 AutoFlow Incubators can achieve a high level of performance and dependability for optimum growth conditions; designed with advanced features available for cell culture research and laboratory work.

The AutoFlow Incubator utilizes dual temperature sensor probes, status alarms, and a digital, solid-state programmable microprocessor infrared [IR] CO2 sensor which makes the necessary corrections to the chamber environment, supporting chamber uniformity and quicker recovery times. Chamber walls are lined with high tech R5 insulation for temperature stability and energy efficiency. Every AutoFlow incubator utilizes a 99.99% HEPA filtration system ensuring a Class 100 air quality inside the work chamber. The interior chamber is maintained at a positive pressure similar to an ISO Class 5 Cleanroom, creating the Constant Contamination Control (C3) system for a dependable environment.

NuAire’s Autoflow NU-5510 CO2 Incubator offers a smaller footprint with largest amount of usable interior space (6.65 ft3). Dual sterilization cycles, 95°C humidified or 145°C dry, are useful for cell line changes or when working with hazardous agents.

Cell / Tissue CultureCell culture or tissue culture is used to study the biology of cells or tissues and to isolate cellular products in an environment which can be manipulated and well defined. Accurately control your culture environment with bioreactors or culture incubators, bind your cells to a surface or together with an extracellular matrix. Distinguish cell types with differential media or proliferate cells with certain characteristics using selective media. Enrich your media with supplements such as growth factors, sera and vitamins. Incubators are necessary equipment for cell culture and microbial research. Control temperature with heated or refrigerated incubators, or the levels of CO2 and oxygen with CO2 incubators. Using environmental chambers, create a humid climate for testing samples. Microorganisms are a useful research tool as genetic vectors and, in immunology, for antibiotic susceptibility testing, cellular biology and genetics. Microorganisms commonly grow readily in incubators with microbial culture media; this can contain chromogenic supplements to differentiate between cell lines. Estimate your culture’s density of microorganisms with colony counters, or screen and select colonies for desirable clones with automated colony pickers. Additionally, equipment is available to monitor environments for the presence of microbes and identify with microbial identification instruments.
