The 2022 AACC Annual Scientific Meeting and Clinical Lab Expo was held July 24–28 in Chicago, USA. The meeting brought together scientists, manufacturers, and industry professionals from across the globe as a community to share and discuss the latest in clinical chemistry and diagnostics. Manufacturers displayed the most cutting-edge technology in the field that is shaping the future of clinical diagnostics, and scientists were able to connect with the technology that makes their research possible.

The meeting saw a huge range of innovative solutions being showcased by over 200 companies. The SelectScience team enjoyed catching up with Fapon Biotech, who featured the Shine i1000 Chemiluminescence Immunoassay Analyzer and displayed innovative solutions for in vitro diagnostics (IVD) manufacturers, Advanced instruments, who showcased the brand new OsmoPRO® MAX Automated Osmometer that was produced in close collaboration with clinical customers, and EKF diagnostics, who displayed its Lucica Glycated Albumin-L liquid biomarker, used in the quantitative measurement of glycated albumin in human serum for monitoring patients with diabetes.

Highlights also included Siemens Healthineers' booth, which displayed automation solutions providing continuous diagnostics testing, and showcased the new Atellica CI 1900, and Tecan displayed a range of exciting products and automated workflow solutions for IVD.
