Product news

Progen Scientific Ltd has teamed up with TKA to supply an exciting new range of high purity water systems and accessories. Details of the products will be released over the coming weeks and includes Ultrapure Systems, Cartridges, Water Softeners and Reverse Osmosis Systems. This week the focus is on the range of TKA High Purity Water Systems, TKA Micropure.

TKA MicroPure
This is a modularly constructed ultrapure water system, developed specifically for laboratories needing only small volumes of ultrapure water. The quality of the water produced fulfils the requirements for the most demanding laboratory applications, such as sample preparation, the rinsing of highly sensitive glassware and instrumental analyses (AAS, HPLC, ICP, GC, AOX, TOC). The new, elegant design of the system and the MicroPure whisper quiet operation makes TKA MicroPure an uncompromising ultrapure water system for the most critical demands.

TKA MicroPure ensures ultra pure water quality as follows:

  • Conductivity , 0.055 µS/cm (18,2 MΩxcm)
  • Bacteria content 1 CFU/ml
  • TOC 1-10 ppb

And the system offers the following features:

  • Performance, 1000 ml per minute.
  • Microprocessor controlled.
  • Quick connect couplings on the ultrapure water module.
  • The bell on the sterile filter outlet protects the ultrapure water during dispensing.
  • Pressure reducer
  • Wall mount or table top
  • Dimensions: Height 545 mm x width 305 mm x depth 300 mm

Assurance of the ultra high purity:

  • Components made of high quality materials
  • Recirculation of ultra pure water
  • Monitoring of limiting values of the ultra pure water and the feedwater conductivity

Optional components:

  • UV photo-oxidation, irradiation wavelengths 185 and 254 nm

Products to assist sample preparation include filtration equipment, evaporators, membranes and sieves.FiltrationFiltration and microfiltration are used to separate solids, particulates or large molecules from fluids (liquid or gases) in order to purify the filtrate. Explore a range of filter formats, including filter paper, plates and membranes for your separation needs. While larger particulates may be separated by gravity filtration, smaller particulates may require additional force for timely separation. Microfiltration equipment includes vacuum filters, as well as positive pressure, crossflow and centrifugal filtration devices.
