New Syringe Test Fixture Helps Manufacturers Control the Flow

Brookfield Engineering announces a number of new test fixtures for use with their CT3 Texture Analyzer including the TA-STJ Syringe Test Fixture. From vaccines to dental adhesives, many injectable products are now distributed in pre filled syringes that must allow for good flow control during discharge.

The Brookfield TA-STJ Syringe Test Fixture allows manufacturers to precisely measure the force required to push or pull the syringe plunger. This information can be very important to the pre filled syringe market or to manufacturers of custom syringe products.

The TA-STJ Syringe Test Fixture is designed for Brookfield’s CT3 Texture Analyzer, the most powerful, lowest cost, stand-alone Texture Analyzer ever produced. It features both compression and tension modes which allow manufacturers to complete a wide range of tests. In addition to their current variety of test fixtures, Brookfield works with customers to develop custom equipment for their specific texture measurement applications.
