AMSBIO announces a new service generating high quality Mass Spectrometry (MS) standards for over 5,000 human proteins. Produced in human HEK293T cells and labeled with [U- 13C6, 15N4]-L-Arginine and [U- 13C6, 15N2]-L-Lysine, the full length proteins with appropriate post-translational modifications are the best choice for accurate identification and quantification of protein biomarkers.

AMSBIO offers stable isotope-labeled full-length protein standards for both matrix-assisted laser desorption / ionization (MALDI) and electrospray ionization (ESI) Mass Spectrometers enabling researchers to identify the best SRM and MRM transitions through experimental data.

The MS standards commercialized by AMSBIO allow researchers to spike at an early stage of sample processing enabling accurate quantification. Produced in human HEK293T cell line the protein MS standards have authentic post-translational modifications with greater than 90% stable isotope labeling incorporation efficiency. As a consequence researchers are able to gain higher data consistency than by using synthetic peptide internal standards.

Mass SpectrometryMass spectrometry (MS) is a powerful analytical technique used to identify and quantify molecules based on the mass-to-charge ratio of gas-phase ions. It provides detailed information about the structure, composition, and properties of compounds and is widely used across fields such as environmental monitoring, materials science, drug discovery and development, food and beverage testing, and wider chemical research. Key MS techniques include tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS), liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LS-MS) and inductively coupled plasma (ICP-MS). Choosing from these wide range of techniques and technologies can be a daunting task, so keep up to date with scientific applications, performance expectations, and customer reviews here all in one place. ProteomicsProteomics is the systemic bioinformatics study of proteins and amino acids, including their structure, size, function and identification. Tools used in proteomics include chromatography, blotting and gels, protein arrays, mass spectrometry and ELISA and associated analysis software. Analyzers and proteomic systems should be sensitive, high resolution, fast and may be automated for high-throughput.
