BioMicroLab continues to grow its product line of laboratory robotics for sample management. This year BioMicroLab is introducing new volume detection solutions, new tube and vial handling solutions, and new modules for the XL100 to accommodate decapping and recapping screw cap vials.

The MX4 Sort and Scan provides entry-level semi automated tube sample management system for laboratories. Biotech, biobanks, tissue banks and small pharmaceutical companies looking for a versatile sample management system will find the MX4 Sort and Scan provides sample automation to assist in tube movement. The MX4 also provides a Windows based software interface to ensure, track and verify accurate sample handling.

The Reagent Monitor is designed to integrate with liquid handling systems and provide real-time liquid level feedback. The Reagent Monitor provides laboratories an additional tool for SOP and quality control task confirmation with reagent bottles and waste containers. Reagent Monitor features include; reporting reagent levels, low volume levels, over-fill alarms, programmable set points and it is scalable to facility wide usage.

The XL100 Vial Handling Instrument has two new modules: automated decapping and an automated capping magazine for screw cap vials.
