Hamilton Company has introduced the new EasyFerm Plus ORP (oxidation-reduction potential) Arc Sensor. Ideal for biotech, pharmaceutical and food processing applications that require frequent sterilization cycles, this new sensor delivers stable measurements of the reduction potential through oxidation in processing environments. The EasyFerm Plus ORP sensor features a pressurized internal reference electrolyte that keeps the liquid junction free of particulates. This sensor can be steam-sterilized, autoclaved or cleaned in place (CIP).

The new EasyFerm Plus ORP Sensor expands Hamilton’s successful Arc line, which has revolutionized process measurement by eliminating the need for transmitters. Arc sensors communicate directly with the control system, with both analog (4 – 20mA) and digital Modbus interfaces, delivering high-quality signals for reliable readings. The Arc technology also enables in-lab precalibration and configuration, reducing costs associated with installation and downtime.

“We are pleased to expand our successful Arc sensor line, which has received high satisfaction ratings from customers,” explains Amber Ratcliff, market segment manager for Hamilton. “The ARC line eliminates costly transmitters and interference issues while delivering reliable and robust signals.”

pH Meters and ElectrodesIon and pH meters are electrochemical equipment used to measure the pH (acidity or alkalinity) or specific ion concentration of a solution. Other meters can also measure the conductivity or dissolved oxygen content of a solution. pH meters, specific ion meters, conductivity meters and dissolved oxygen meters can come as benchtop or portable equipment. A meter’s electrodes can be replaced with easy to clean electrodes or electrodes for difficult media. pH, ion and conductivity meters are typically used in life science research, pharmaceutical testing, food and beverage, environmental and water analysis.
