This month, Miltenyi Biotec will be releasing a new wave of kits for the magnetic isolation of mouse CD4+, CD8a+, or pan–T cells. These are the perfect tools for customers who want to achieve target cell populations with both high purity and unmatched recovery—the unique antibody cocktail is the key.

The next generation T cell isolation kits by Miltenyi Biotec rely on the world-wide tried and tested MACS® Technology, which has been cited in more than 12,000 publications. Optimized for T cells from spleen or lymph nodes, the kits allow the user to isolate cells within 45 minutes. Since the gentle magnetic separation procedure results in cell populations with excellent viability, the cells can be used for a multitude of applications.

Just to name a few: adoptive transfer experiments, T cell proliferation assays, coculture with dendritic cells, and cytokine analysis. For fully automated cell separation, the kits can be combined ideally with the autoMACS® Pro Separator. To simplify and speed up the cell separation procedure even further, Miltenyi Biotec also offers the perfect device for the gentle automated dissociation of tissues to yield single-cell suspensions—the gentleMACS™ Dissociator.
