Metrohm introduces the 885 Compact Oven Sample Changer for automated thermal sample preparation in Karl Fischer titration. The 885 Compact Oven Sample Changer has a very small footprint, ease of use and great flexibility.

The 885 Compact Oven Sample Changer is ideally suited to automate the preparation of samples that release their water only at high temperatures, are difficult to dissolve or react with the KF reagent. In the oven the samples can be heated up to 250 ºC. The moisture contained in the samples evaporates and is transported by a stream of dry carrier gas into the titration cell, where the analysis proper takes place.

The 885 Compact Oven Sample Changer is controlled by way of an integral keypad. Only the oven temperature and the gas flow need to be defined and the number of samples set. If the titrator is linked to a balance, the weight of the samples does not need to be entered manually.

IncubatorsLaboratory incubators are used to provide a stable environment to cultivate and store samples in, giving you optimal control of temperature, humidity, oxygen and CO2 levels. Incubators are necessary equipment for cell culture and microbial research. Control temperature with heated or refrigerated incubators, or the levels of CO2 and oxygen with CO2 incubators. Using environmental chambers, create a humid climate for testing samples.
