Torrey Pines Scientific announces its EchoTherm™ RHB20 compact, Heating Dry Baths with temperatures settable from ambient to 120.0ºC.

These units are designed for remote controlled applications on robotic and bench top systems using a PC. The RHB20 is very compact and designed to take up as little space as possible. The units measure 5.375” (136.5 mm) long by 3.50” (88.9 mm) wide by 2.00” (50.8 mm) tall without a sample block.

Any number of RHB20’s can be used via the RS232 I/O port on each unit and any available PC serial ports. Any number of units can be set to any single temperature via a single computer serial port. The unit(s) will continue to run the temperature instructed even when the PC is disconnected and used to instruct another unit.

Offered as accessories is the broadest variety of precision-made aluminum sample blocks available anywhere for standard assay plates, deep-well assay plates, centrifuge tubes of all sizes, vials, and most any size test tube. Custom sample blocks can be made for any sample container by request.

The RHB20 can be set to 0.1ºC and control temperature to 0.1ºC. Temperature settings are stable to ±0.2ºC and accurate to ±0.5ºC. Each unit comes complete with heater module, universal power supply, AC line cord for the country of use, and instructions including the Serial Port Command Set.
