The new XL100 Vial Handling Instrument from BioMicroLab, Inc. will be previewed at LabAutomation 2008.
Its features include:
- 20 SBS rack capacity
- 1D/2D scan from side of vial
- 2D scan from bottom of vial
- 4-Place balance
Future options to include a 5-Place balance, screw cap decapping station, and integrated thermal blocks for frozen samples. The XL100 is compatible with vials 18mm in diameter and up to 100mm in overall height.
