JM Science announces its new AQUACOUNTER® Karl Fischer Volumetric Titrator (AQV-2100S). It has a wide detection range from 100 ppm to 100% and a maximum capability for automation and future up-gradeability.

A large size color LCD screen provides all the information that the analyst requires. For instance, real-time titration curves can offer some assistance when developing new methods. Its automatic background compensation function allows accurate volumetric measurements of trace moisture levels.

The AQV-2100S can also be converted to either a two channel volumetric-volumetric titrator or a two channel volumetric-coulometric titrator. The volumetric conversion allows the use of two different strength titrants for maximum analytical flexibility. The GLP compliant instrumentation validation functions provide important information such as the life of reagents, the life of electrodes, etc. FDA 21 CFR part 11 compliant software package is also available.

TitrationTitration is an analytical technique for determining substance concentration in a solution. For titration consider a manual or automated system, volumetric or coulometric reagent addition and indication by a potentiometer, spectrometer, turbidometer or by the Karl Fischer method. Other features of titration to consider include burettes, reagents, concentration range, reaction time and autosamplers.
