New amaxa Stem Cell Kits Provide Transfection Efficiencies of up to 80%

Embryonic stem cells are powerful tools for discovering developmental processes at the cellular level. Hence, amaxa introduces four new Human Stem Cell Nucleofector Kits, for single reactions and up to 96-well transfections, suitable for various stem cell lines. With these kits, transfection efficiencies of 60% up to 80% can be achieved for stem cells, combined with high viability.

Apart from embryonic stem cells, amaxa's Stem Cell Nuclefoector Kits enable researchers to efficiently transfect various types of stem cells such as mesenchymal, hematopoietic or neural stem cells, without compromising potential for differentiation. Optimized transfection conditions allow the use of DNA, siRNA or peptides which make the non-viral method a flexible tool to assist scientists in their individual research, e.g. study differentiation patterns or characterizing the basic metabolic processes of stem cells.
