Product news

New from Applikon Analytical is the ADI 2019 D Process Colorimeter. Based on the existing ADI 2019 Process Colorimeter the ADI 2019 D extends the range of analytes capable to those requiring thermal digestion.

At the heart of the ADI 2019 D Process Colorimeter is the new digester module containing the thermal heater, glassware and colorimetric measuring cell. The colorimetric measuring cell is based around the existing white LED/filter combination used in the cuvette assembly giving excellent sensitivity and selectivity.

As with the existing ADI 2019 Process Colorimeter, the ADI 2019 D is specified with exactly the pumps and valves required to automate each customer's analysis. This customized approach makes the range of analytes incredibly wide but typical examples are Total Phosphate, Total Iron, Total Phenol and Total Chrome. In addition a dedicated model for Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) has been launched, available in high and low ranges.

The ADI 2019 D features automatic cleaning, automatic validation of out of range results and automatic calibration. Housed in an IP65 enclosure the analyzer is suitable for mounting in process areas without further protection and a full range of accessories such as self-cleaning filters are supplied.

UV-Visible SpectroscopyUltraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) spectrophotometers are used to measure the interaction of UV and visible light with a sample, including transmission, reflectance & absorbance. The two major instrument classes are single-beam or double-beam spectrophotometers. More specialized equipment includes colorimeters, spectroradiometers and refractometers. Portable and microvolume spectrophotometers are also available. For the modular spectroscopy lab, explore a range of light sources for combination with a spectrograph/spectrometer and optics.
