Product news

Monowave EXTRA is a new microwave reactor from sample preparation expert Anton Paar that perfectly masters solvent extraction tasks. The comprehensive configuration comes with unique benefits such as excellent stirring for proper agitation as well as an integrated camera for watching the experiment progress. Monowave EXTRA’s autosampler unit provides reliable unattended sequential operation, optionally even overnight. Up to 24 vials are easily queued and processed by quick and efficient programming of multiple experiments via a graphical user interface.

It used to take many hours, now it’s a matter of minutes: Microwave-assisted extraction is the modern, fast alternative to common time-consuming setups like Soxhlet extractors. With significantly reduced material consumption and less waste generated, the microwave-assisted extraction protocols prove cost-effective and ecofriendly.

Users benefit from this added value:

  • Precise software-assisted temperature control for accurate achievement of target temperature
  • Seamless, adjustable magnetic stirring device for proper admixing and process enhancement
  • Integrated digital camera to observe progress inside the vial
  • High microwave field density for effective heating of non-polar solvent mixtures – no need to revise common procedures

Monowave EXTRA is suitable for countless applications in environmental analysis, material testing, food & feed testing, pharmaceutical analysis, petrochemistry and much more.
