Molecular BioProducts® Introduces ART® Solvent Safe™ Pipet Tips: Carbon Barrier Protects Against Corrosive Vapors

Molecular BioProducts, Inc. (MBP), the leading manufacturer of pipet tips, has introduced a line of ART® Solvent Safe™ carbon barrier pipet tips.

As theeconomical alternative to positive displacement systems and glass pipets, these unique pipet tips feature a carbon barrier designed to effectively block the passage of volatile organic solvents generally found in protein synthesis, HPLC, mass spectrometry and other sensitive applications.

Corrosive damaging vapors such as TFA, chloroform and acetone can contaminate pipettors and solvents when used with regular filter or non-filter tips. ART Solvent Safe tips protect against contamination providing an accurate measurement and dispensation of acids, bases and polar and non-polar organic solvents.

ART Solvent Safe tips are available in 20ul, 200ul and 1000ul sizes and fit all major brand manual pipettors and are available in non-sterile or pre-sterilized form. Pre-sterilized tips are certified RNase-, DNase-, DNA- and pyrogen-free.
