MiniLipoPrep – A New Tool for Studying Protein-Liposome Interactions
24 Nov 2006Product news
Harvard Apparatus offers the NEW MiniLipoPrep device for rapid, reproducible and convenient preparation of small volumes of liposomes (0.5ml to 1.0ml) from lipid/detergent micelles inside a sample chamber sealed with a membrane.
A motor rotates the sample chamber at a constant speed. Liposomes are formed during removal of the detergent from the lipid/detergent micelles and dialysis of the detergent through the membrane.
The MiniLipoPrep can prepare homogeneous unilamellar liposomes in about 2 to 3 hours. A larger unit is also available
