MilliporeSigma will feature several new products at SfN, with an emphasis on Cell Culture- highlighting the launch of a newly “Refined” Stericup® Quick Release filter system at Booth #1723.
The Stericup® Quick Release is the next generation of the original Stericup® Sterile Vacuum Filtration System, which has been a staple in labs around the world for decades. The new Stericup® 500 mL filter with Millipore Express® PLUS membrane is a filter bottle system ideally suited for sterile filtration of cell culture media, buffers and reagents. The newly refined product offers ergonomic design updates inspired by users to optimize user control and streamline the filtration process, while safeguarding results with the proven performance of Millipore® membranes.
The Stericup® Quick Release device combines a Steritop® filter unit with a re-designed Stericup® receiver bottle for storage of sterilized media, buffers and other liquid, and will be offered in sizes in the 150 to 1000 mL volume range with multiple membrane materials and pore sizes ideal for the range of requirements.
MilliporeSigma will officially launch the Stericup® Quick Release with a press release at the show on November 13. A social media event will invite show participants to respond to the tweeted question: “What problem does Stericup® Quick Release help you solve in the lab?” 1 winner from those who have tweeted their response will be randomly selected to win a Kleen Kanteen hydroflask at the end of each day.
