With an extensive range of versatile Screw Cap Recappers, Micronic aims to increase the efficiency of the sample storage or testing process by accelerating the capping and decapping of screw cap tubes.

Micronic offers two product lines, the Screw Cap Recapper CS500 series, and the Screw Cap Recapper CS700 series. The recappers are compatible with either 96-well, 48-well, or 24-well format sample storage tubes from Micronic or tubes from other brands.

Screw Cap Recapper CS500

The CS500 Recapper is a handheld device which enables users to recap a row of tubes in 5 seconds and a whole rack of tubes in less than a minute. In addition, the cost-efficient device ensures optimal sealing performance by sealing tubes securely and uniformly. The recapper provides an ergonomic solution for both left and right-hand users. Additionally, the light-weight device doesn’t require a battery and is therefore always available to use once plugged in. The device is easy to use for a wide range of research applications.

Screw Cap Recapper CS700

The Micronic Screw Cap Recapper CS700 can be used as a stand-alone instrument or be simply integrated into a fully automated laboratory environment. This makes the screw cap recapper ideal for high throughput workflows and to relieve researchers from repetitive manual labor. The device can recap a whole rack of sample storage tubes in 30 seconds. Additionally, the Ethernet connection creates many possibilities for different communication protocols. Because the recapper is also equipped with an interface (API), the device can be integrated into larger robotic systems like liquid handlers. An optional sensor verifies that all caps have been removed for an effective use of the device in an automation process. The Screw Cap Recapper uses a precisely determined torque value for optimal sealing quality thereby minimizing evaporation and maximizing the integrity of valuable samples.

The reliable and robust Micronic Screw Cap Recappers come with a 1-Year warranty. Micronic’s labware equipment is designed and assembled in-house. At Micronic, high quality and a high level of service are of paramount importance. By assembling equipment in-house, Micronic's equipment assembly personnel and engineers have the first-hand knowledge and skills necessary to perform services quickly and smoothly.

Packaging is closely linked to Shipping and the preparing of goods for transport, warehousing, logistics, sale, and end use. Within the pharmaceutical industry packaging and shipping are used for transport, storage and logistics between Contract Research Organizations (CROs), Manufacturing and Clinical Trial companies. Packaging is also critical in the final production of a pharmaceutical product before market. Sample PreparationSample preparation can improve the quality and speed of separation techniques. Products to assist sample preparation include filtration equipment, evaporators, membranes and sieves.Sample HandlingProper and careful handling of samples is important in scientific studies to ensure the integrity of specimens. This will prevent deterioration and cross contamination, and improve the accuracy of sample tracking procedures.Sample StoragePreserving clinical trial samples to the highest standards is a critical component in maximizing the value of present day and future clinical research. Specialized storage and transportation of these tissue, blood and serum samples reduces the risk of them being damaged or lost.Sample ProcessingSample processing is required to prepare samples prior to analysis. Technologies used for sample processing include homogenizers, grinders, mills and mixers.
