Maximize your research capabilities with the combination of two systems for all your chemiluminescent and fluorescent imaging requirements.

The systems are comprised of the ChemiDoc-It and GelDoc-It Imaging Systems along with several additional components at a special offer price for a limited time.

The ChemiDoc-It, designed specifically for western blot chemiluminescent imaging, features a light-tight darkroom, height-adjustable sample tray and the ChemiHR cooled CCD camera. For northern and southern blot chemiluminescence imaging, select the optional BioChemi Camera with higher integration times and increased quantum efficiency.

The GelDoc-It, for fluorescent and colorimetric imaging, features a darkroom with UV blocking viewing window, LM-26E UV transilluminator and the Gel Camera for capturing high resolution images.

A five-user license of UVP’s unique, user-friendly VisionWorksLS software is included with this combination offer and allows several researchers to perform analysis and documentation of their images at a separate location. The distinctive drop-down menus make capture and analysis of images a straightforward, easy to follow process.

Free components included with the combination offer include UV/White Light Converter Plate, Visi-Blue Converter Plate, the new Gel-Sentry DNA Preparation Plate plus a computer and monitor.

Contact UVP’s offices for availability or variations of this offer in your country.

Western BlottingWestern blotting equipment is used to transfer and identify specific proteins within a sample, reveal protein modifications, as well as give a semi-quantitative estimation of their concentration. Western blotting equipment includes all apparatus necessary to transfer proteins from gel to membrane and subsequent processing steps. Protein transfer can be performed by electroblotting with wet, semi-dry and dry transfer systems onto nitrocellulose and PVDF membranes. Blocking, washing and labeling of membranes follows, involving buffers, blocking reagents, blotting / incubation trays, labeling reagents, immunoblotting assays, antibodies and conjugates. Automated equipment for these steps is available to accelerate your lab workflow. Finally, detection and imaging of proteins can be conducted using gel documentation and imaging systems. Explore a range of a gel imaging systems, densitometers, scanners, transilluminators or UV lamp + CCD cameras for your image analysis solutions. Colorimetric, fluorescent and/or radioisotopic samples can be visualized and documented for further analysis.
