Product news

The Evidence Investigator™ from Randox is a bench top semi-automated analyser that utilises Biochip Array Technology for multi-analyte testing. A revolution in diagnostics, the Evidence Investigator will maximise your laboratory throughput.

The Evidence Investigator has a throughput of 162 samples per hour multiplied by the number of tests performed per biochip. A single 9mm2 biochip acts as the reaction vessel, replacing multiple cuvettes. Randox biochips currently can hold up to twenty-five tests. It is clear that this analyser is capable of producing impressive throughput rates, whilst reducing expenses on items such as cuvettes.

This analyser is CE marked and FDA approved, so offers high standard, quality testing. The Evidence Investigator is suitable for use in a wide variety of settings, such as multiplexing for use in research, pharmaceutical and veterinary areas. An extensive range of arrays are available to run on the Evidence Investigator, including; cardiac, cytokine, drugs of abuse, cerebral, thyroid, adhesion molecules, tumour monitoring, fertility, Ranplex CRC DNA array, growth promoter and anti-microbial arrays. More arrays are currently in development.

Clinical TrialsClinical Trials, an essential part of drug discovery process, assess the safety and effectiveness of a new medication or device in the pharmaceutical industry. Clinical Trials are a phased process (Phase 0, Phase I, Phase II, Phase III and Phase IV) which begins after initial preclinical testing.Robotic InstrumentsRobotic instruments can be used for high-throughput automation of many lab processes. Such processes use instruments for assays like cell based assays and ELISA, for sample preparation like shakers, centrifuges and incubators, and for analysis such as sequencing and western blot analyzers. Useful features of robotic instruments include speed, reproducibility, barcode readers, software and automation.Robotic WorkstationsRobotic workstations are automated platforms enabling the user to perform high-throughput, multi-application processes, from sample preparation tasks such as PCR set-up, DNA purification and NGS library preparation, to integrated sample prep and analysis workstations. Automation makes processes consistent, fast, precise and fully walk-away.
