Matrical introduces automated Vial Weighing Station

Matrical recently launched the Vial Weighing Station, a module that offers a single vial capture mechanism to weigh up to 210 grams of liquid, solids or powders. This station boasts interchangeable adapters to allow for different size vials (2mL, 8mL, 20mL, etc.).

It may be integrated into the reformatting module of Matrical’s Ministore, automated sample storage, management and retrieval system or AutoMAP, Automated Assay Platform. This module enables vials to be weighed as they are processed in either system and the data is correlated with initial tare weight to speed the inventory control process for samples. This design reduces manual weighing steps and ensures accurate accounting for these precious samples. When used within these systems, this Sartorius weigh cell is automatically calibrated. Turnaround time is quick at 4 seconds per vial.
