Product news

LabLogic’s 300SL liquid scintillation counter is now available with a high throughput sample stacker capable of loading and unloading up to 8 sample trays automatically, giving the counter a capacity of up to 768 vials.

Supplied with a user friendly software interface, the stacker can be purchased with the instrument or in retrospect if capacity needs increase. It can also be removed easily and stored elsewhere if the lab down-sizes, or when a large project comes to an end.

Together, the 300SL and the sample stacker provide a compact basic platform along with the flexibility to upgrade for higher throughput at a later date – perfect for the uncertainty associated with research projects and the size limitations of modern radiation labs.

At the core of a scintillation counter is a sensor and detector, where the sensor is typically a scintillator crystal. Scintillation also includes liquid scintillation, radiometers and particle counters. Key features of scintillator counters include high resolution, automated multi-detection and high counting efficiency.
