The Thermo Scientific™ Virtuoso™ Vial Identification System is not only designed to eliminate one of the most tiresome, manual laboratory tasks but also to improve sample labeling, traceability and sample security.

The system is fully programmable, with barcoding, has no character limits and can be operated with an easy-to-use touchscreen. The necessary chore of vial labeling takes on average 39 s per vial manually but only 5 s per vial using the Virtuoso™, and has multiple vial loading capability. This improves productivity, reduces labeling errors and enhances sample security. Using the customizable system, laboratory labeling can be standardized, include more detail and be easily read by anyone. The label itself is more robust and is solvent proof. Labeling is also possible in any orientation, in multiple languages and has been shown to remain stable at low temperatures, for sample storage.

The system is particularly beneficial for labs subject to strict regulations for sample analysis and tracking. The fully customizable features and robustness of the labeling make this an excellent tool for sample security, in regulated analytical processing and storage, by enabling easy tracking and identification of vials.
