LabStrong Corporation, the exclusive distributor of Fi-Streem Water Purification Stills in North America, is pleased to announce that all of the LabStrong Fi-Streem Stills have been certified by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA). The certification indicates the stills have been independently tested and certified to meet North American industry-recognized standards for safety and performance. The certification makes the LabStrong Fi-Streem Stills unique in the marketplace because they offer both the CE and CSA safety mark.

Obtaining the CSA certification was a necessary step to better serve LabStrong’s Canadian customer base. “The certification has allowed us to better serve our customers by providing them with high quality, economical water purification systems that are both CE and CSA approved,” states Mark Lockwood, president of LabStrong. “The certification is an important step forward for the product line and reflects LabStrong’s continuing commitment to deliver high quality products to the laboratory equipment market.”

To obtain the CSA certification, LabStrong worked closely with CSA throughout the formal evaluation process. The LabStrong Fi-Streem Still models that are CE and CSA certified include the A74415LS, A74415-60LS, A74410LS, A74428LS, A74420LS, A56210-857LS, A56218-857LS, A56220-857LS, A56230-857LS, A56228-857LS and A56238-857LS. The LabStrong Fi-Streem Stills consistently produce high quality ASTM Type II water. The production capacities of the stills range from two to eight liters of distilled water per hour and four liters of double distilled (bi-distilled) water per hour.
