Product news

With exponential increase of surface science related papers, recently published books, dedicated phD thesis and ISO standards, the GD with its capability as an Ultra Fast Elemental Depth Profiling Technique has gained recognition as a useful tool for practical surface analysis.

Every two years, the GD Day gathers world wide HJY users in France. We are proud to announce that this year is the third GD Day, and will focus on Plasma deposited coatings and their characterisation by Rf GD. These two processes, deposition and sputtering, are complementary and there is a lot to learn through cross expertise: change of gas, measurement techniques, plasma physics, etc. Some new approaches to coatings characterization will also be introduced and finally recent developments at HORIBA Jobin Yvon will be presented. This day is free of charge and only available for HORIBA Jobin Yvon users.
