Field Verification II from Hamilton Robotics is an expanded service that verifies the performance of MICROLAB® STAR automated pipetting workstations and peripherals in accordance with GLP/GMP standards. The new service, performed at the customer site by a certified Hamilton technician, verifies pipetting accuracy and precision of Hamilton independent pipetting channels and multi-probe heads as well as X-Y-Z axes positioning. A dual gravimetric and photometric measurement methodology is used to quantify pipetting performance and produce a verification report in just a few hours.

The service also includes performance verification of integrated Hamilton and third parties devices, such as heater/shakers, coolers and barcode scanners. “Hamilton systems are already recognized for accuracy and reliability,” explained Rick Luedke, marketing manager for Hamilton Robotics. “Our new Field Verification II service provides a periodic performance check of the liquid handler and peripherals to meet regulatory guidelines and increases user confidence in results.”
