AtmoGen with three Whitley Incubation Boxes

Don Whitley Scientific (DWS) has announced the launch of the Whitley AtmoGen, a new gassing system for the rapid generation of multiple atmospheres (anaerobic, microaerobic and capnophilic) in gas jars.

The Whitley AtmoGen includes modern graphics, software, and optional dual gas input. AtmoGen can be used to gas three separate jars simultaneously with the same atmosphere. A single microaerobic cycle is completed in just 19 seconds; a single anaerobic cycle takes just 1 minute and 55 seconds (not including catalyst check), and a single capnophilic cycle takes just 3 seconds.

The system is easy to use, with no complicated training required, and can be operated with other, non-DWS anaerobic jars (with an adaptor kit). It also features a new catalyst check function to ensure that an effective catalyst is in place before incubation. AtmoGen has a 7-inch full colour touchscreen, USB and Ethernet ports, data logging, and comes complete with one Whitley Incubation Box.

Gas Generators and AnalyzersGas generators are used for supplying or monitoring a regular flow of a high purity gas such as nitrogen, hydrogen or zero air for applications such as gas chromatography. Gas analyzers can be used in supply chain processes and laboratory experiments with portable analyzers for monitoring CO2 and O2 levels as well as trace gases. Regular flow can be produced with gas control modules and flow meters. Incubators are necessary equipment for cell culture and microbial research. Control temperature with heated or refrigerated incubators, or the levels of CO2 and oxygen with CO2 incubators.
