Bluebee, a pioneer in cloud-based high performance genomic analysis solutions, and GATC Biotech, Europe’s leading provider of innovative DNA and RNA sequencing, announced today their collaboration on genomic data processing.

GATC Biotech, a provider of sequencing and bioinformatics solutions for projects of all sizes, has adopted Bluebee’s robust and scalable cloud platform to support secure, efficient and affordable data analysis. GATC will leverage the Bluebee platform within its own IT infrastructure to support large scale services such as whole genome sequencing. The partnership is part of a systematic effort to offer the fastest processing times for GATC Biotech’s Sequencing Solutions with the highest levels of information privacy and data protection for customers.

By using Bluebee, GATC Biotech benefits from unparalleled scalability, while safeguarding data security and integrity. Importantly, GATC Biotech’s bioinformatics team will keep full control of all pipelines and data management in order to meet the stringent information protection standards of both companies. All data will be processed and stored in Germany, compliant with EU and German data privacy regulations.
