ELRIG (European Laboratory Robotics Interest Group), invites researchers in the field of Robotics and Automation to attend its free conference and networking event to be held on 19th June at the Mitsubishi Centre, Hatfield.

‘The aim of the meeting is to provide delegates with a vision of future technology’ commented Dermot Boylan, Managing Director of the ELRIG conferences. ‘The one day conference will encompass applications of cutting edge robotics technology in a variety of industries ranging from pharmaceutical, industrial and non-scientific environments. The program has been devised to enable networking between scientists within similar as well as unrelated industries. Our rationale is to ensure cross-fertilisation of ideas and best practices of technologies and methodologies across multi-disciplinary industries to enable scientists to consider new options for progressing their research.’

The meeting will include a tour of the impressive facilities at the Mitsubishi centre as well as a chance to hear snapshot presentations from vendors who will discuss the latest trends in software and hardware solutions for laboratory automation.
