Fisher Scientific Becomes Exclusive Distributor of Labscan Range of Chemicals for Ireland

Fisher Scientific, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., the world leader in serving science, today announced it has become the exclusive distributor of Labscan chemicals in Ireland.

Labscan produces high purity solvents for use in laboratories and other exacting environments. This move further extends the strong relationship already enjoyed with Fisher Scientific in other territories across Europe, including Sweden and Denmark.

Key markets for these high specification products include the biomedical, environmental, life science and pharmaceutical sectors among others.

David Westwater, General Manager Fisher Scientific (Northern Europe), is delighted with this new development and pledges that the same level of service and reliability will continue to be provided.

The Labscan range will be produced by POCH SA, a high calibre chemical manufacturing company with over 60 years experience and 350 employees. To ensure that future product quality is consistent with current Labscan specifications, POCH will be using the same equipment, processes and raw materials.
