Product news

The Eppendorf TF Chip product line provides a new innovative type of microarray in the market for the direct detection of transcription factor proteins interacting with DNA.

The TF Chip human MAPK kit is now the very first micro array product enabling the researcher to investigate phosphorylation dependant pathways in the cell. Mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPK) are a family of serine/threonine protein kinases widely conserved among eukaryotes and are involved in many cellular programs such as cell death, proliferation, differentiation, inflammatory processes and apoptosis. The TF Chip human MAPK kit is a highly reliable tool to help analysing the effects of external stimuli such as cell treatment with well know compounds or selected drugs.

The TF Chip human MAPK kit can be used with conventional fluorescent labeling methods but also with the unique and innovative Eppendorf Silverquant® detection technology. This Technology allows the data analysis in an easy and convenient fashion in combination with high quality results and attractive pricing.

The TF Chip human MAPK kit and the Eppendorf Silverquant® detection technology will be presented on two of the biggest biotech trade shows:
The Bio 2006, Chicago, USA 9-12th April.
The Analytica 2006, München, Germany 25-28th April

Fluorescence SpectroscopyFluorometers and spectrofluorometers (also called fluorescence spectrometers) are used to measure the intensity and wavelength of fluorescent light emitted from a sample after excitation by illumination. Spectrofluorometers utilize monochromators to select the desired wavelengths, whereas filter fluorometers employ a set of filters. Spectrofluorometers for measuring steady-state fluorescence and lifetime fluorescence (or time-resolved fluorescence) are available, as well as fluorescence microscopes and microplate readers. This can reveal information on protein or gene expression, single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP), copy number variation (CNV), epigenetics and patient health in clinical diagnostic tests. Discover a range of microarray scanners and prefabricated antibody, protein, RNA and DNA microarrays for your analysis or consider creating your own custom microarrays with a microarray printer.
