Eppendorf Launch New Product at Biotechnica 2011

BIOTECHNICA the European forum for biotechnology and life science professionals, will see the launch of the new BioSpectrometer by Eppendorf to the market. As a further innovation, Eppendorf will be introducing its PiezoXpert® in Hannover, Germany, which has been developed for piezo-supported manipulation or microinjection procedures.

Young product developers will be given a forum at the Eppendorf booth. Up until the end of June, scientists were able to participate for the first time in the development of a new product in the life science sector. Eppendorf started an Internet-driven crowdsourcing request to give their customers the chance to take part in a new challenge: Eppendorf is searching for the pipette stand of the future! Crowdsourcing is the perfect way to implement customer wishes.

The three most promising ideas for the pipette stand of the future will be presented to the public at the Eppendorf booth. The three winners will occasionally be on site to present their product development. We are very hopeful that the winning design will be suited for production and ultimately lead to the introduction of a new product.
