Dotmatics, a leading provider of scientific informatics solutions and services, is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Lingard, formerly at Thomson Reuters, as Head of Commercial Operations. Over the past few years, the Dotmatics Platform has grown extensively to become the most complete informatics platform for scientific organizations. Dotmatics has had significant success with launches of its class-leading querying and data management suite, a world’s first fully web-based electronic notebook (ELN), innovative collaborative research tools and a ground-breaking visualization tool. As Dotmatics’ innovative enterprise business continues to grow and thrive in life science, industry and academia as well as Food and Beverage, Oil and Gas, Engineering, and Consumer Products, Richard Lingard will oversee the expansion and running of the commercial and customer-facing teams.

Richard Lingard brings significant scientific and management experience, having worked in the Life Sciences industry for over two decades, supporting pharmaceutical organizations’ drug discovery efforts. As a Director at Thomson Reuters he ran the sales organization in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, leading partnership development and establishing a partner ecosystem to give Thomson Reuters’ content a variety of new and valuable routes to market. Richard Lingard has also held a number of other important global commercial roles.
