Product news

Retsch Technology has launched the fourth generation of the successful CAMSIZER® system for particle size and particle shape analysis. New product features include an extended measurement range from 20 µm to 30 mm, faster cameras with higher resolution as well as a particle library for direct storage of individual particle images.

The patented dual camera technology used by the CAMSIZER P4 and animations of the measurement procedure of dynamic image analysis are now presented in a new 6 minute video. This not only explains the measurement technique and software features, such as the display of measurement results as 3D scatter plots, but also shows a variety of application areas as well as optional usage with an Autosampler and a process-line version.

CAMSIZER P4 is the superior alternative to laser diffraction and sieve analysis; it not only provides much more accurate size measurement results but also additional information about the particle shape.

Particle CharacterizationParticle characterization instruments are used to determine particle size distribution, shape, surface area, zeta potential, density and porosity of particles and materials. Multiple tecchniques are available for determining particle size, shape and count including dynamic light scattering (DLS), laser diffraction, electrozone (Coulter technique), imaging particle analysis and single particle optical sensing. Determine the density of your material with a gas pycnometer or examine its surface area and porosity with gas adsorption analyzers and mercury porosimeters. Find the best particle characterization instruments in our peer-reviewed product directory: compare products, check customer reviews and receive pricing direct from manufacturers.
