Riboxx has developed and validated a new structure of siRNA with a unique sequence motif. The Riboxx siRNA increases the efficiency of the gene silencing by enhancing loading of the antisense strand to the RISC complex. As a consequence, siRNA potency is increased, much less siRNA is needed for an effective knock-down with a subsequent reduction of off-target effects. In addition, the Riboxx siRNA displays a higher resistance to RNases in comparison to conventional siRNA such as blunt-end siRNA or siRNA with 3'-overhangs.
