Nonlinear Dynamics Ltd, a leading global provider of bioinformatics solutions, today announced that the UCD Conway Institute of Biomolecular and Biomedical Research (Dublin, Republic of Ireland) has chosen to invest in Nonlinear’s revolutionary new approach to 2D-gel proteomics analysis. Under the terms of the agreement, the Conway Institute has purchased multiple licenses of Progenesis PG240 with SameSpots enabled by TT900 S2S. Financial terms were not disclosed.

These products provide a brand new approach to 2D image analysis delivering highly accurate results with 100% matching and no missing values within the data. This represents a quantum leap in the quality and reliability of results that can be obtained using 2D-gel based proteomics research. For the first time users can achieve robust statistical confidence and run experiments with significant numbers of replicates.
