Bruker Daltonics, Inc. will be profiling their comprehensive range of analytical solutions for forensics and doping control at Pittcon 2013, March 17-21 in Philadelphia. Bruker experts will be on hand at booth #2935 to showcase the impact and the new compact qTOF, the latest technological advances and the company’s industry-leading range of instruments.

Bruker’s revolutionary impact was designed to match advances in high performance chromatography with an exceptional mass spectrometer. The benefit of combining quantitative and qualitative excellence and fast 4 G sample/sec digitizer, enables data acquisition speeds of up to 50 Hz. The revolutionary impact provides results from a single LC-MS analysis, at sub ppm mass accuracy and 40,000 full sensitivity resolution, making it the ideal solution for rapid, high target number screening and the rigors of forensic toxicology.

Introduced for the first time at Pittcon, the new Bruker compact qTOF system featuring outstanding MS and MS/MS sensitivity and high-resolution. The compact is designed for robust and reliable results time after time. The new innovative features included in the bench-top system are a 3-4 times higher dynamic range with cutting-edge 10 bit ADC technology, for greater application flexibility. The compact provides an impressive 50 GBit/sec sampling speeds without compromising resolution. There is no need to choose between throughput, which is maximized, and performance characteristics.

Bruker’s Toxtyper™ uses the latest LC-MS ion trap technology from the amaZon™ range. It has the speed to deliver comprehensive, reliable and fast identification of drugs through the comparison of retention times and compound mass information to an extensive library of compounds.

Another highlight of the conference will be the Pittcon Heritage Award, which this year will be awarded posthumously to Guenther Laukien, pioneer in NMR and founder of Bruker. The award will be accepted by his son, Bruker CEO Frank H. Laukien, at a reception on Sunday, March 17 at 16:30 in Ballroom B, Level 300.
