Product news

The new in-situ sensor from BlueSens offers the parallel online monitoring of O2 and CO2 for the analysis of fermentations with just one space-saving sensor. It can be used for fermenters of every size, from the lab to industrial scale.

The BlueInOne Ferm also measures the pressure and humidity in the off gas of the bioprocess. Therefore the BlueInOne Ferm is neither affected by the gas flow nor by humidity and stands for highest reliability. Wherever you might have needed a series of sensors or bulky gas analyzers in the past, you now can install just one sensor. The reasonable price also allows the installation of redundant systems. With this analyzer it is now possible to measure PAT-conform directly in the process and in real time. Because of that the process parameters can be optimized and controlled. BlueInOne Ferm stands for gas analysis of the latest generation. Due to the compact top-quality stainless-steel housing (IP65) the BlueInOne is very easy to install and fits to any hose, pipe and tube. The status of the analyzer is now displayed by two luminous pushbuttons.

BiosensorsBiosensors are devices used to detect an analyte using biological molecules specific to the analyte coupled to a detector. Biosensor instruments may be photometric, typically using surface plasma resonance (SPR), electrochemical or QCM (quartz crystal microbalance) biosensors. Biosensors should be selective, portable, robust and sensitive and have a fast response time. Systems may be manual or automated and usually have associated software.Bioprocessing / FermentationBioprocessing is the use of biological materials to perform commercial, scientific or medical research processes. Biological materials used include cells, enzymes and organisms. Usually bioprocessing requires a batch or continuous bioreactor such as a fermentor or cell culture system. The advantages of using a reactor include high productivity, easy configuration, adjustable values and automation.
