Biometra Expands TProfessional Thermocycler Line with a New Model

Biometra GmbH, a Company of Analytik Jena Group, expands its product portfolio with the TProfessional Basic XL thermocycler. It is the latest model of the Biometra TProfessional thermocycler line and is equipped with an anodised 96 well XL block for extra large volumes up to 100 µl.

Large reaction volumes are often required especially for new PCR techniques like emulsion PCR for NGS (New Generation Sequencing) or bisulfite treatment of DNA for methylation studies. The TProfessional Basic XL thermocycler offers the comfort to incubate the reaction in one single tube without compromising the temperature uniformity or the heating and cooling rates. The thermocycler is available either with or without gradient function for the optimization of PCR protocols.
