Bio-Rad Launches D-10 Rack Loader for Worldwide Distribution

Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc., a multinational manufacturer and distributor of life science research and clinical diagnostic products, today announced the launch of the D-10™ Rack Loader for use in conjunction with the D-10 Hemoglobin Testing System.

The D-10 Hemoglobin Testing System features A1c and HbA2/F/A1c assays for diabetes monitoring and beta-thalassemia screening. The D-10 platform has been available worldwide since the spring of 2003 and is currently being used in laboratories in approximately 29 countries.

The D-10 Rack Loader is a new addition to the D-10 platform that expands the capacity of the system from 10 to 50 whole blood samples. Increasing the D-10 platform’s capacity, the Rack Loader streamlines laboratory workflow and simplifies system operation. Users can load more samples at one time (and continuously) during a run. The D-10 Rack Loader is available as an upgrade to an existing system, so it can provide more capacity when needed. With the D-10 Rack Loader, laboratories can add capacity without adding more work.
