Beckman Coulter Releases Command Central Version 2.0

Beckman Coulter, Inc., a leading manufacturer of diagnostics instruments worldwide, has announced the release of Command Central Version 2.0. The new version of this product enables the monitoring and management of up to 12 lab instruments from a single workstation or up to five separate locations in the lab.

"Command Central is an invaluable asset in the race to reduce turnaround times and improve patient results," according to Ronald Berman, vice president of the Clinical Automation and Clinical Information Business Centers at Beckman Coulter. "Lab workflow and staffing flexibility are tremendously enhanced by its ability to catch and correct interruptions in sample processing from anywhere inside or outside the processing area," Berman continued.

Command Central 2.0 includes new, customizable icons for easy identification of the newest Beckman Coulter analyzers and automation systems.

Command Central is compatible with Beckman Coulter's Access^®, SYNCHRON^®, UniCel^® families of instruments, COULTER LH hematology family of instruments, flow cytometry product line, and ACL TOP Hemostasis instruments, as well as the AutoMate™ Sample Processing System and the full-automation Power Processor.
