BD Diagnostics, a segment of BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company), announces the expansion of its product portfolio with the addition of the BD Innova™ Preanalytical Automated Microbiology Specimen Processor, which is designed to help increase laboratory efficiency and automate the modern microbiology laboratory.

By acquiring the Lab Systems division of Dynacon, a privately held corporation based in Ontario, Canada, BD adds innovative product platforms from a leader in preanalytical microbiology automation. These product platforms include the innovative InocuLAB and Innova platforms.
