Autosampler Interface Gives Complete Control
6 Apr 2006Product news
SMI-LabHut are pleased to introduce a software interface that allows HTA’s HT300A autosampler to be controlled via the popular Agilent Chemstation®.
Using the interface is easy. A pop-up window allows the autosampler to be programmed using the required injection method whilst the GC method is programmed in the normal way. The interface allows the full injection parameters of the HT300A to be used, such as internal standards, even though these options may not have been available with some of the Agilent auto-injectors. Interface benefits include:
- No requirement to replace a functional GC
- Direct replacement gives identical results using the same methods
- No re-training required – minimum expense and downtime

AutosamplersAutosamplers are automated sample loaders used with a number of separation and analytical techniques. HPLC autosamplers use automated partial or full-loop injection systems and place samples in vials or microplates for analysis. Autosamplers can also be used for elemental analysis. Features to consider include repeatability, syringe capacity, footprint and temperature controls. Gas ChromatographyGas chromatography (GC) is an analytical technique used to separate and quantitate mixtures of small and volatile compounds. Gas chromatographs or GC systems include components such as GC columns, detectors, pumps and autosamplers. Choose from packed or capillary GC columns, flame ionization (FID), photoionization (PID) electron capture detectors and selective or non-selective detectors.
