Automation-Friendly Lids

Matrix Technologies is excited to introduce automation-friendly universal plate lids, designed
to enable handling of lidded plates and automate delidding on the PlateMate® Plus and
WellMate® Stackers, as well as other automated liquid handlers.

Each lid has indents to enable the stacker solenoids to separate and handle lidded plates, the solenoids can also remove a plate and leave a lid in the stacker. These automation lids are universal, fitting on all plates with standard height skirts.

Matrix automation-friendly lids are compatible with non-Matrix automated systems with solenoids which operate the de-lidding feature. The sterile polystyrene lid is available in two colors, clear and black (for light senstitive assays). Automation lids can be ordered alone for use with any existing plate, or pre-packaged with any Matrix microplates.
