Product news

SMI-LabHut will be exhibiting the HT400E autosampler on Booth 5410 at Pittcon 2008.

The HT400E can reliably and accurately automate manual Solid Phase Extraction procedures and automatically injects the sample into an HPLC system. This allows increased work flow and removes the need for many repetitive tasks.

The exceptionally high flow reproducibility and ‘zero dead volume’ plunger design ensure the best method for reproducibility and consistency.

Even very complex methods can be automated, with samples extracted, treated further and then re-injected onto another SPE cartridge for further operations. The multiple position capability of the HT400E makes it incredibly flexible and yet very compact with minimum bench space requirements.

A simple change of the sample tray and the HT400E becomes a fully functional HPLC autosampler for up to 110 samples.

AutosamplersAutosamplers are automated sample loaders used with a number of separation and analytical techniques. HPLC autosamplers use automated partial or full-loop injection systems and place samples in vials or microplates for analysis. Autosamplers can also be used for elemental analysis. Features to consider include repeatability, syringe capacity, footprint and temperature controls.  Solid-Phase ExtractionSolid-phase extraction (SPE) is used for clean-up, extraction and concentration of semi-volatile or non-volatile analytes from complex mixtures including blood, urine and food samples. Multiple formats are available for conducting SPE, including prepacked SPE cartridges, disks and microplates, as well as SPE sorbent powders for manual packing. SPE systems can be used to automate the process and extract multiple samples at once. Solid-phase microextraction (SPME) and supported liquid extraction (SLE) products are also available in the same formats.
