DASGIP combines disposable benchtop bioreactors with the DASGIP technology. Thanks to the unique modularity of the DASGIP Parallel Bioreactor System the Mobius CellReady 3L bioreactor can be integrated seamlessly into DASGIP’s control system. In this manner, DASGIP combines the familiar powerful process control with the advantages of disposable technology.

The CellReady bioreactor is a single-use stirred tank bioreactor for cell culture process development. The disposable bioreactor eliminates the need to clean and autoclave, thus it accelerates preparation and post-processing time. “The integration of single-use benchtop bioreactors into our DASGIP Parallel Bioreactor System enhances flexibility of users which is decisive in the dynamic laboratory equipment market.” explains Dr. Thomas Drescher, Chief Executive Officer at DASGIP.

“Combining the Parallel Bioreactor System and the CellReady Bioreactor we make advanced process control available for single-use reactors at benchtop scale. Thereby disposable bioreactors deliver a
higher degree of reliability, scalability and reproducibility. Due to the parallel design up to
eight disposable vessels can be operated at the same time and serve the users with rapid and
accurate results.”

Hence, operators of disposable bioreactors are free to add the well-known DASGIP monitoring and control units as their application requires: mass flow controlled gas mixing, variable speed controlled pumps and monitoring of pH and dissolved oxygen are available, advanced inline measurements such as off-gas analysis or optical density monitoring alike.

Set-points and profiles, such as agitation rate, temperature, pH, and DO can be accessed through the DASGIP Control user interface even online. An integrated historian and 21 CFR Port 11 compliant one-click process reports alleviate documentation tremendously.

Cell / Tissue CultureCell culture or tissue culture is used to study the biology of cells or tissues and to isolate cellular products in an environment which can be manipulated and well defined. Accurately control your culture environment with bioreactors or culture incubators, bind your cells to a surface or together with an extracellular matrix. Distinguish cell types with differential media or proliferate cells with certain characteristics using selective media. Enrich your media with supplements such as growth factors, sera and vitamins. Find the best cell and tissue culture products, kits and equipment in our peer-reviewed product directory: compare products, check customer reviews and receive pricing direct from manufacturers.Bioprocessing / FermentationBioprocessing is the use of biological materials to perform commercial, scientific or medical research processes. Biological materials used include cells, enzymes and organisms. Usually bioprocessing requires a batch or continuous bioreactor such as a fermentor or cell culture system. The advantages of using a reactor include high productivity, easy configuration, adjustable values and automation.
