Product news

Metrohm have announced the release of the 898 XYZ Sample Changer for the fast and reliable analysis of large sample series. Measurements and titrations are carried out directly in the sample vessels.

Being controlled by the tiamo™ software, high throughput and the possibility to change racks during operation make the 898 XYZ ideal for routine analysis.

The 898 XYZ Sample Changer is equipped with a space saving membrane pump and a rinsing station. The duration of the rinsing step can be freely defined, so this can be adapted to the sample type. If required, the removal of the processed sample solution can be automated with additional external pumps.

The 898 XYZ can be operated with various sample racks and many applications can be directly automated without having to adapt SOPs for sample volumes. As the racks are split in two, racks with the next batch can be rapidly and easily inserted while the samples are running.

For titration consider a manual or automated system, volumetric or coulometric reagent addition and indication by a potentiometer, spectrometer, turbidometer or by the Karl Fischer method. Other features of titration to consider include burettes, reagents, concentration range, reaction time and autosamplers.
